Why, the whole country's goin' apey!

Monster of Party Beach has FINALLY been released! I'm SO thankful to everyone who's supported me in this endeavor, especially those who have been buying the DVDs, hats, shirts, and posters!

Monster of Party Beach took two years to finish, and I'm glad to see it out there, running like a boy through a field, as Corky St. Claire would say.

The feedback I've been getting has been overwhelmingly positive, which does my heart good, because these comments are coming from people I haven't paid to say those things!

My first con, Ghoulardifest, was a success. Now, I'm setting my sights on Cinema Wasteland, Horrorhound, and a host of other movie and horror conventions in 2015.

Here's to the year of the Cyclops!

Living in a material world...

      NO, I'm not channeling Madonna. I can't pull off a fake English accent that badly.

      I'm just pondering my recent attempt to offer Monster of Party Beach as a digital download. I thought, "heck yeah, a buck thirty nine? It's a steal!" and that everyone would go for that option until the DVDs were ready. Some might even PREFER digital to physical format.
     I'm just thrilled that, like me, EVERYONE who responded to my query said he or she would prefer a real, physical THING to store what will SURELY become his or her favorite movie of 2014. I know that I would want something I could hold in my hands. I'm just glad to hear that physicality is not out of fashion.
      Hail the physical. Hail the DVD. It is coming soon. Really. It's just taken a lot longer to find a few companies who are willing to fight for my business. I'm down to two.
      As soon as I hear final quotes, I'll be ordering. Should take a few weeks to make, but it'll be WORTH the wait.
      Just in time for Halloween, and a GREAT movie to watch Thanksgiving day, Monster of Party Beach will ALSO be that must-have gift of the Christmas and Festivus season!
      I'm just so excited to bringing this to you. You deserve it. ;)

Monster of Party Beach soon to be released!

Cyclops Movies' first production, Monster of Party Beach, is in the final editing stages and should be released in late August or early September.

Three trailers are already on the Cyclops Movies Youtube page. If you haven't seen them, what are you waiting for? Get out there!

     Workin' in a Coal Mine. Other than being a great Devo cover, it's a little of what I'm starting to do now, figuratively, as I begin the process of creating a trailer for Monster of Party Beach. I'm uber excited about getting this first trailer out to you, race fans. My editing skills are about as good as my surgery skills. Thankfully, I've got a few good friends who will help me learn the process.
      Process. In Big Picture terms, that's what Monster of Party Beach is going to teach me most, process. The process of writing a screenplay. The process of shooting a movie. The process of editing a movie. The process of putting music and sound effects and layer them into the existing layer of video to make what may eventually look like a movie.
